{"id":2508,"date":"2017-06-12T18:48:35","date_gmt":"2017-06-12T09:48:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hrcjapan.com\/disposal-of-large-garbage-and-electrical-items-in-tokyo\/"},"modified":"2025-08-28T11:35:17","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T02:35:17","slug":"disposal-of-large-garbage-and-electrical-items-in-tokyo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hrcjapan.com\/en\/disposal-of-large-garbage-and-electrical-items-in-tokyo\/","title":{"rendered":"Disposal of Large Garbage and Electrical Items in Tokyo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/4\/3693\/12251329996_129f9306f0_b.jpg\" width=\"512\" height=\"384\" \/><\/p>\n<p>First,\u00a0contact your ward\u2019s disposal office to make a reservation for the collection of your items.\u00a0 Please note that there will be a small fee for the disposal of these items.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Large Garbage <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Items that are approximately 30 cm X 30 cm X 30 cm or larger (i.e. furniture, bedding etc.).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minato-ku, Shibuya-ku, Shinjuku-ku, Setagaya-ku, Shinagawa-ku, Meguro-ku, Chiyoda-ku &#8211; (03) 5296-7000.<\/li>\n<li>Ota-ku &#8211; (03) 5465-5300.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Electrical Items <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For example, air conditioners, TV sets, refrigerators, washing machines etc.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minato-ku, Shibuya-ku, Shinjuku-ku, Setagaya-ku, Shinagawa-ku, Meguro-ku, Chiyoda-ku, Ota-ku &#8211; 03-5296-7200.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Computers:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A collection\/recycling fee applies for computers purchased on or before September 30, 2003. \u00a0If there is a recycle symbol on the PC, then there will not be a fee charged and you should contact the manufacturer directly for collection.
