Other than that weirdness, you really couldn&#8217;t tell October 31st from November 3rd, or any other average day here in Japan. \u00a0More recently though, times have changed s it\u00a0seems like every shop in town adopts a Halloween motif, often as early as September, while\u00a0every bar and nightclub holds a costume contest or ball\u00a0over Halloween weekend.<\/p>\n<p>That is all well and good, but isn&#8217;t Halloween supposed to be about kids and trick-or-treating? \u00a0Yes, of course, and to help you and your family celebrate the occasion we have prepared a shortlist of events you can bring the children to around Greater Tokyo without being worried they&#8217;ll see something strange.<\/p>\n<h2>Roppongi Hills Halloween Parade<\/h2>\n<p>The parade, starting with the brass band and followed immediately by throngs of costumed revelers, will begin at Roppongi Hills Arena, and make their way through the streets of Tokyo in a loud celebration of all things anime, manga, ghoulish and ghost-like. Kids under 12 can dress up and participate in the parade (requires advanced registration) <span class=\"\">This year, from October 1st (Monday \/ Holiday) at 11:00, the participation certificate will be sold at the special booth in the \u201cKids Forest\u201d B2F, Omotesando Hills Main Building.<\/span>If you wish to participate in the parade (and candy rally), please check the participation method carefully and fill out the purchase agreement and request a participation certificate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 30px;\">October 27th<br \/>\nHarajuku\/Omotesando, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo<br \/>\n03-5766-2778<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.harajuku-halloween.com\/\">www.harajuku-halloween.com<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Kawasaki Halloween Parade<\/h2>\n<p>This is probably the biggest Halloween event in the area.
