Their mission focuses on improving the health, education, and economic livelihoods of people displaced by conflict around the world. RIJ channels its funding towards sustainable, community \u00acled projects implemented by experienced organizations working with refugees in the field.<\/p>\n<p>Their philosophy is to support refugees within their same culture or a culture very similar to their own; with the ultimate goal of a safe and dignified return home. When refugees are living within their culture, they are more likely to integrate and contribute positively to their host communities. RIJ has worked with refugees around the world for more than 35 years and has witnessed the success of vast number of projects as their own beneficiaries have become self\u00acsufficient and go on to make valuable contributions to their communities.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>2017 Charity Soccer Day<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This year\u2019s Charity Soccer day will be held on Saturday May 27th at the <a href=\"http:\/\/ycac.or.jp\/wp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Yokohama Country &amp; Athletic Club<\/a>, with the children&#8217;s competition being held in the morning and adult\u2019s tournament in the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Website:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/footyjapancompetitions.com\/events\/charity-soccer-7s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.footyjapancompetitions.com\/events\/charity-soccer-7s<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Organized by Footy Japan and hosted by NPO Centre Circle, we will be once again looking to raise money through financial sponsorship and or prize (raffle) donations, please see the attached sponsorship request form for further details.
