A good way to get your feet wet if you are new to Nagoya is to try out the \u201cMe-Guru\u201d bus, or the Nagoya Sightseeing Route Bus.<\/p>\n

If you gotta go by bus, the \u201cMe-Guru\u201d is not a bad choice. This is not a standard city bus; the \u201cMe-Guru\u201d bus is an air-conditioned model with nice seats and a snazzy gold paint job that will take you on whirlwind tour of the sites in the City Of Nagoya. Ok, perhaps whirlwind is a bit of an overstatement, but you know you are going to see these sites anyway, why not make a day out of it and see a few of them?<\/p>\n

The \u201cMe-Guru\u201d is easy and cheap, with buses leaving every 30 minutes on weekends, and every hour on weekdays from Nagoya station. A day pass is 500 Yen for adults, 250 Yen for children, and can be purchased on the bus itself. That day pass will also get you into many of the attractions along the route at a discounted rate. Yurika Cards, Regular one-day, and the Do-nichi Eco Kippu are also accepted.<\/p>\n
