Japan is a drinking country. You do not have to be here very long before you see your first “salaryman” passed out in front of the station, dead drunk at 7 in the evening. Its a fact of life in Japan, some people drink hard, and the same can be said of the foreign community in Japan as well, though we tend to pass out a bit later than 7.
