For most of us from colder climates, it is hard to imagine winter without ice skating. Luckily, many in the metropolis share that view, and there is a wide selection of ice rinks to choose from. We’ve looked high and low for the best places to hit the ice this winter. Tokyo Midtown Ice Rink First up is Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi. This large rink is operating until March 26th, so there is plenty of time to go. If you go now, however, you will have some fantastic illuminations to accompany your evening post-work skate. My favorite thing about this rink, aside from the location, is that the ticket price includes a coupon for the cafes and restaurants inside Tokyo Midtown so that you can enjoy a coffee after your ice time. The costs for admission are 2,100 yen for adults and 1,600 yen for children on weekdays. On Weekends, the price increases to 2,500 yen for adults and 2,000 yen for children.
