Japanese food is celebrated worldwide as one of the premier global cuisines. You could even consider yourself lucky to live in such a country where the food quality is held in such high regard. But for all of the many wonderful charms that make up Japanese cooking, sometimes you just hanker after something that tastes of home. Fortunately, some supermarkets cater to those of us wishing to purchase international foods, and your choices are only increasing. While products on sale at these stores are often imported and thus come at a substantially higher cost, they are increasingly popular with locals and ex-pats alike.
