As is the nature of such stores, the products on sale are predominantly imported and thus can come at a substantially higher cost than back home; however, they are growing increasingly popular with locals and ex-pats alike. COSTCO Wholesale Japan You probably already know this members-only giant grocery store that carries imported and Japanese goods. With its low wholesale prices and bulk quantities, Costco has become increasingly popular in Japan, regularly featuring on TV shows that marvel at the ‘American-sized’ goods on display.
