For me, the one particular meat that is done so differently here and yet done so right would have to be chicken. The textures and flavors you find from how it is grilled, fried or even left raw (in a relatively safe to eat manner!) make the experience of eating chicken almost like learning about a whole new kind of meat. Today, we will talk about where Nagoyans can go to partake in chicken karaage – the Japanese version of fried chicken. There is nothing fancy here – just strong flavors, quality meats and handcrafted perfection. Once the weather cools down slightly, grab a cup of chicken and hit the streets of Osu, Tsurumai, Sakae and anywhere else you find this wonderful shop! I should warn you that there is probably no real reason to choose the smaller portion options. Also, when in doubt: order another cup!
